2007 was a big year for 3form green initiatives. Now, more than ever, we need to ask ourselves, “What does it REALLY mean to be green? While environmental stewardship has always been one of our core operating principles, this year we have focused on making our processes more transparent. We believe it is not a destination, but a path. A year ago, during our annual GreenWeek, we set even more aggressive goals for enivormmental care. We commited to eliminate landfill waste within 2 years, reduce our carbon dioxide emissions by 90% over ten years, and increase the recycled content of our products to 90% over ten years. For 3form, being green is not about token changes, but constant progress, attention, analysis, and action. It is about baselines and benchmarks to achive our ambitious goals. A year after establishing our Path to Zero program, we are taking extra time to assess where we are, to celebrate how far we have traveled, and prepare ourselves for our journey ahead.
Below is our agenda for this year’s Green Week, April 28 through May 2. Check back with us at the conclusion to see the report back of our progress.
