3form Glass can retain the dimension and natural state of objects since no high heat or pressure is involved in the fabrication process, unlike Varia which utilizes pressed interlayers. Compared to other glass panel products, 3form Glass sets itself apart with its intriguing encapsulation ability as well as seamless edges, a variety of edge finishes, and treatments. |

For what kinds of applications is 3form Glass appropriate? |

3form Glass can be used as an alternative to traditional glass in architecture and is acceptable for both internal and external use. As an added bonus, its resin properties keep 3form Glass from shattering as it possesses the same characteristics as safety glass. A small sampling of 3form Glass projects include rolling doors and panels, partitions, retail displays, furniture applications and more. |

Custom requests for 3form Glass are available in 12 x 12'' samples for $125. Custom edge treatments and low-iron glass are available as additional options for $25 each per sample. Can 3form Glass be used in exterior applications? |

3form is currently gathering weathering data for exterior use of 3form Glass. Customers have specified if for exterior applications and have not experienced any difficulty with the longevity or weather-ability of the product. However, until testing results are available, no warranty can be made for exterior applications. |

Will the interlayers fade when exposed to sunlight? |
|
|
The cast resin used in 3form Glass interlayers has properties that protect the panel from UV damage. However, all natural materials (botanticals, textiles, etc.) used as interlayers are subject to a change in appearance over time. |

Does the cast resin affect the characteristics and properties of the interlayers? |
|
|
The interlayers used in the 3form Glass collection do not have a chemical reaction with the properties of the resin. However, this may vary depending on the interlayer you select for a custom panel. Please contact 3form sales representatives for more details or to test an interlayer. |

How do I integrate color into 3form Glass? |
|
|
Color may be integrated into 3form Glass by encasing a sheer, colored interlayer textile within the glass in addition to your other interlayer elements. 3form recommends this method for its consistency; a variety of available colors may be seen in the 3form solo line of products. |

Are finishes and etching available? |
|
|
Any finishes and etching traditionally applied to glass may also be applied to 3form Glass. These are considered custom projects and additional fees will apply. |
